2025 SPONSOR REPORT

The inaugural Drowned Island Challenge took place on Anegada the weekend of June 7 and 8.  Six events took place over two days – two runs, two swims, a paddleboard race and a Beach Beer mile. Competitors from Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and the BVI took part.

About 20 people took part including some "pop up" juniors and and three guests from Anegada Beach Club for the paddleboard race and Beach Beer Mile.

Although entries were less than hoped there were enough to test the concept, get feedback, and plenty of content for marketing the 2026 event.

2026 will be bigger!
